Vtouch Project was originally planned in 2021.
This story began when I was in junior high school. One day, I saw a VTuber livestream for the first time. What appeared on screen was an animated character that could move, sing, and interact with viewers in a fun way, even without showing the streamer’s real face.
At that moment, I asked myself, “What is this?” That was the first time I encountered the word VTuber.
Soon after, during a period of self-discovery, I started asking what I truly wanted to do. At the same time, the VTuber scene was growing rapidly. In 2022, I began planning Vtouch Project more seriously, although I knew from the start that it would not be an easy path.

Around that time, I started studying Live2D intensively and had a chance to receive commissioned work from a senior creator. Through that process, I came to understand the VTuber field more deeply and gained practical experience step by step.
At that time, I had just stepped out of my old Minecraft community circle and was searching for something new. It was also a confusing period in my life. I had a small group of friends I talked to and played games with regularly.
I shared this idea with them, and they said they wanted to build it together. Originally, I planned to do everything alone, but with their encouragement, I accepted them as co-founders. In the beginning, we had three core operators.
However, as time passed, our directions and goals became increasingly different. Combined with relationship issues, I decided to adjust roles and reduce involvement early. It was a difficult decision and may have hurt some relationships, but I believed it was necessary and decisive at that moment.
My working style is independent, and I am more effective when handling key responsibilities directly. In practice, this worked better, and I was already carrying more than 80% of the workload anyway. After that, I continued Vtouch Project in the direction I believed would be best in the long term.

In 2023, I made a major decision: it was time to welcome people beyond my personal circle.
Before then, most VTubers in the project were close friends, such as Dear, Cha Zele, and AlcyoNe. But if we wanted real growth, we had to expand beyond familiarity.
At one point, I came across a Stardew livestream by a VRoid VTuber. They clearly enjoyed what they were doing. I gathered my courage and sent an invitation to join us. In my mind, I thought, “We are still unknown, this probably won’t work,” so I did not expect much.
But the reply became one of our most important turning points:
“I was actually about to apply, but then Zee messaged me first. I had been thinking about it for a while. So yes, I agree!! 😊”
At that moment, I was speechless. That was the beginning of a major step forward for us.
